I love people! Just love it... Just woken up, sitting at the hostel, drinking coffee and preparing to do the morning cleaning of the rooms, yes it is hollyday and I should not be cleaning, but, we prefer to clean rather than paying. Elin my wonderful girl, has already begun the process while I am still gathering energy.
Yesterday was spent on a poolparty in New Jersey. It was a father who had just graduated and was celebrating. Here comes the reason why I love people! We arrive to the backyard of the poolpartyhouse, not knowing anyone. Instead of what we thought, that it would be a bunch of young people, there were families that were there, which had been friends forever. Both me and Elin fellt stupid coming there not knowing anyone, and walked up to the owners of the house to introduce ourselves. They were a little suprised at first but than started asking us questions about who we were. A few minutes later, they gave us hugs, food, drink and made us feel like the honor guests. We hade a wonderful time, swimming and getting to know new people. As I said, I love peope.
Today we are taking the bus down to Wasington DC, but first as already mentioned, some cleaning, and thereafter some champagne to celebrate David, the owner of the hostel. It is his birthday today.
